Speech/Language Pathologist


 

I have been a speech/language pathologist in the Manitowoc Public School District since 2001.  Before that, I worked in a hospital setting in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for 18 years and for two years in an Early Childhood Program at Lightfoot School in Sheboygan Falls.  

I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Besides having a license from Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction, I am nationally certified (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech/Language-Hearing Association. 

I love all animals, but especially cats and pandas.  I enjoy traveling, shopping and cooking and am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and the
Wisconsin Badgers. 

I enjoy working with children and helping them achieve their optimal level of performance.  Teaching them how to understand language and communicate with their friends and family is so rewarding!
